Building the Space Station — Almost Done April 12, 2009

Here’s a useful animation of the assembly of the Space Station, from USA Today.

I spotted only one flaw: their delivery of the P6 truss in December 2000 (STS-97) shows a building block/telescoping installation of the P6, when in fact the -97 crew delivered the truss in one monolithic chunk, just as the other solar array truss sections were delivered.

Make sure you get outside to take a look at the ISS on one of its spectacular night sky passes.
